Our Guests - Our Friends.
That is our motto and we live by it.
Since the establishment of The Rustic Butler in 2009, we have improved, improvised, renovated, extended, and simply got better in every way, to offer our guests the very best and an experience to remember. We are looking forward to hosting you!
The Rustic Butler B&B is perfectly situated in the heart of the peaceful little town of White River, which is comfortable in the summer and pleasantly warm in the winter.
We are within reach of the Kruger National Park (± 45 km from the nearest camp), Blyde River Canyon in Hoedspruit, the warm waters of Maputo, yet at the same time close to the lively city of Nelspruit. Riverside and Ilanga malls with their shops, restaurants and entertainment, are 12 km to 18 km away.
The Casterbridge Lifestyle centre with its art, cinema, antique stores, museums and restaurants, is a mere 6 minutes away.
We are situated close to Rob Ferreira Highschool, White River Primary, Flamboyant Remedial School, Uplands prep and College, Penryn, Curro and everything you may need to make your stay with us more enjoyable.
OUR ROOMS
The guest house consists of 8 units suited to accommodate up to
22 guests.
All units come equipped with comfortable beds, linen and towels, en-suite bathrooms equipped with walk-in showers and bathrobes, Wi-Fi, a patio with seating area, and a private entrance. Other in-room facilities include smart TV's and shared DStv along with tea- and coffee-making facilities.
The safety of our guests is extremely important to us. We have a well-lit parking area, remote-controlled gates and alarm systems in the rooms.
WHAT WE OFFER
Breakfast and dinner are available on request at an additional fee, which is served either in our dining room, on the deck or, if you prefer, in your room.
A home-cooked meal is specifically prepared to meet guests’ needs while they relax in our 4-star facility.
As an added convenience, we also offer packed lunches, for guests to take with on their excursions and other trips off-property.
The Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport is 16 km from the guesthouse and airport transfers are made by arrangement.
EXTRA SERVICES
The guest house is not affected by load shedding due to the benefits of solar energy.
Rustic Butler also features a picnic area, a barbecue area, a family room as well as an outdoor fireplace, for those cold winter nights which usually are the best times to socialize, with a warm cup of coffee.
For an additional fee, we can offer a ‘Romantic Bath’ – our Luxury Room lends itself to a romantic bubble bath, champagne, rose petals, chocolates and candles.
